Annotation:

The lecture is inspired by a preparation of application to run on the U.S. market. One of the requests was to achieve a 100% score in the http://www.webpagetest.org test. The first part describes general principles of design, structure and application logic, the other part shows particular tips for configuring Linux servers. Moreover the lecture presents also  tips to reduce numbers of requests and data flow which will help both the server and end users.

Brief CV of the lecturer:

GNU/Linux is both his work and his hobby. He is a chairman of CZLUGu and also a member of Czech FFII committee, an organization struggling against people´s freedom in the digital world. Moreover he is a chairman of Rudna.net, a project which is aimed at covering unattractive areas with the Internet network.
