Procedure of the 2020/2021 Admissions to the Bachelor Degree Study Programme

The Conditions for the Admission to the Bachelor Programme set the complete course of admissions. Here are the essential points from filling out an application to registration into the study.

1) To Fill Out an Application Form

Prospective students are enrolled in the admission procedure by the application. The recommended method is to fill out the web application.

2) To Pay the Fee for the Admission Procedure

The fee for the admission procedure is CZK 800. The fee can be paid through the web application or transfer to the bank account of the FIT.

3) To Deliver All Required Documents

Applicants must deliver all required documents to the FIT Office of Study, either by post or in person. The deadline is April 20, 2020. At the registration into the study, applicants must present the originals of all submitted documents for verification.

The required documents are:

4) To Pass the Mathematics Test and the Interview

In the given year, the FIT organises a remote online admission test of mathematics and remote online interview in English. The tests and interviews will take place within May 4–15, 2020. Within April 20–30, 2020, the applicant and the admission committee mutually agree upon the exact date and time of the online test and interview.

5) To Pay the Tuition Fee

A necessary condition for preliminary admitted applicants to be officially admitted is the payment of tuition fee for the first semester—CZK 64,000. It can be paid by credit card through the FIT payment gateway or transfer to the bank account of the FIT.

6) To Apply for a Visa or a Dormitory

After receiving the fee, the FIT sends applicants official letters of admission, the admission confirmation for the embassy, the accommodation confirmation, and the study contract signed by the FIT. Now applicants can apply for their visa. They can also book their accommodation in the CTU student dormitories.

7) To Register into the Study

Applicants must appear in person at the FIT Office of Study within September 2–18, 2020, to register into the study. Applicants who cannot attend the registration at this time must inform the Office of Study by e-mail to or by post.
