Short bio:
Jiri is co-founder & CEO of Comprimato. Before he started Comprimato, he did research in parallel algorithm design at Masaryk University and later also at CESNET. 
About Comprimato:
Comprimato was born from a unique idea of using GPU for JPEG2000 video compression. What first started as an university project, led by Jiri Matela, quickly turned into a successful startup. Comprimato is headquartered in Brno and was founded in 2013. Shortly after founded, Comprimato was offered a place in the JIC, which is the most successful Czech technology incubator. The company accelerated even more after it received funding from two VC firms Y Soft Venture Capital and Credo Ventures.
