Improving NTM

We were one of the first to perform experiments with the Neural Turing Machine, introduced in 2016 by Google researchers.

Jan Tkačík and Pavel Kordík published their research in the proceedings of the World Congress of Computational Intelligence (WCCI 2016, IJCNN part) in an article entitled Neural Turing Machine for sequential learning of human mobility patterns. They examine the properties of NTM and compare it with Stack RNN in predicting patterns in human mobility. They made their implementation of the NTM publicly available, allowing others to reproduce their experiments. The presented models were also used to predict the movement of suspects in cooperation with the anti-drug department of the Police of the Czech Republic.
