Come to a lecture from the Informatics evenings series. Filip Široký, a machine learning expert and formerly a CERN scientist, will talk about the Web3 issue. He will develop the idea that the latest developments in distributed computing and zero-knowledge cryptography will change the way we interact with each other. He will also reveal what blockchain is good for and what the future of the internet looks like.

About the speaker
Filip Široký is a researcher and a venture capitalist at RockawayX, previously an artificial intelligence scientist at CERN and a data science consultant for the United Nations, and a graduate of Mathematical Informatics at FI MU. Filip is one of the youngest Czech scientists who ever managed to get a job at the prestigious CERN institute. He completed his first one-year internship here when he was 20 years old. For his work, he was included in the 30 Under 30 selection in the prestigious Forbes magazine.
