Mathematics for bachelor study applicants
Are you worried about the math entrance exam? Our preparation course will provide you with a set of tests. You can check your problem-solving abilities and familiarize yourself with the form of the actual admission test.
This course for the bachelor entrance exam is held online in the Moodle system. To access the tests, register in the system.
- You can register by filling in the form. We will then send your credentials to the email address you have provided within 7 days (i.e. not immediately). Some email clients may mark the reply as spam, so check this folder as well.
- If you have forgotten your password, fill in the registration form with the same data as during registration.
- If you already have a CTU password, you can log in directly. There is no need to register.
Informatics for master study applicants

Mathematics for first-year bachelor students
Start your studies with a solid math foundation! You will review the most important high school mathematics concepts and reinforce your skills, from functions, equations and logic to combinatorics, sets and notations.
The Preparatory Mathematics (BIE-PKM) course will help you to complete your first-year mathematics courses successfully, and you can earn your first assessment and 4 credits. The course is held online in the MARAST system, where you will find study materials, examples to practice and quizzes. After completing all quizzes, you will take a final test on the faculty’s premises at the beginning of the semester.
- You can complete the course online during the summer, even before registering for study. To do so, you can log into MARAST using a Google account (select “Log in » Google login” on the MARAST login page, then follow the instructions in the course description).
- Alternatively, you can start the course once you have registered for the study in September (then you will log in using your CTU username and password).
Introduction to Linux for first-year bachelor students
Learn the basics of the Linux operating system and how to work with the command line. You will get familiar with the basic commands and techniques of a Unix-like system. Master the power of Linux at the beginning of your studies!
Completing the Introduction to Linux (BI-ULI) course will help you complete one of the compulsory first-semester courses, Unix-like Operating Systems (BIE-UOS), and earn you an assessment and 2 credits. You will be introduced to the course topics independently using the e-learning system from Cisco Networking Academy. The final test is then held during the teaching period on FIT premises.
- You can start the course after registration (the Office of Study Affairs must do it).
- Within a few days after it, you will receive a message from Cisco Networking Academy with your credentials to your school email.
