There is beauty in simplicity, so we have only one study programme divided into several specializations. Whichever one you choose during your studies, you can look forward to plenty of practical experience, involvement in real-world IT company projects, and exciting research opportunities.
Start in the Informatics programme and choose your specialization during your studies
A balanced mix of theory and practice
We cannot do without theoretical knowledge of computer systems and a solid foundation in mathematics. However, as the saying goes, practice makes perfect. In addition to plenty of hands-on lab work, you can also get involved in real-world projects with successful companies.
Events for applicants and prospective students
You can get acquainted with our faculty even before you join us. Right from the start, you can take part in several informal, optional events packed with practical tips to help you get off to a smooth start at FIT.
Stories of those who graduated from FIT
We taught computer science to students who had used a computer just for browsing the web. We inspired one graduate so much that she stayed at the faculty. We helped another start a successful company. These are just a few of the stories we have had the privilege to be a part of.
