DevOps is a relatively new discipline not covered well by higher education. Companies resort to internal training to compensate for the lack of graduates. It is a spectrum of processes and technologies from agile development, testing and security, build and release management, to automation of deployment and application monitoring. At FIT CTU, the departments of Software Engineering and Computer Systems and experts from practice created a bachelor's course with prerequisites of Git and Operating Systems, whose students practically try out the basics of all technologies on internal cloud resources and a continuous integration pipeline comprehensively from compilation to deployment.
