Robotic Agents Laboratory (RoboAgeLab)

The laboratory focuses on the research of various aspects of robotic agents, i.e. robots that plan and act together in a community of other robots that allows them to work together and achieve more than a standalone could.

Teaching in the Robotic Agents Laboratory is co-financed by the project “Projekt ČVUT ESF II.” of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports from the Operational Programme Research, Development and Education, within the sub-activity “Development of education in the field of artificial intelligence”.

What we do

We specially focus on intelligent decision making of robotic agents in multi-agent scenarios in all phases, from the abstract planning phase through motion planning, to the plan execution phase in the physical world by real multi-robotic systems typically consisting of many identical robots.

Our approaches are based on symbolic artificial intelligence, specifically constraint satisfaction, heuristic search, classical planning, motion planning, and the design of intelligent agents. We emphasize explainable and safe artificial intelligence.
