We will not let random visitors, those interested in studying, or first-year students grope around for a long time. We provide acquaintance with the school and new study colleagues through several educational and informal events.

November AND February

Open Day

The best way to savour our faculty’s friendly atmosphere is to come to the Open Days. You will find out firsthand that FIT is undoubtedly the best place to study informatics. You will also get all the information about the study possibilities, admission requirements and career options. Current students and teachers will be happy to share their experience with you.

Events for first-year students

SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER

Information meeting

For first-year students, study advisors together with the Office of Study Affairs and PR representatives organize an Information meeting. Students get a brief introduction about how the study at FIT is organized (e.g. study plans, registration to courses, e-learning systems, student communication platforms, contact persons).

September and January/February

Doctoral Students’ Evening

The introductory evening for PhD students helps (mainly) newcomers to get acquainted, fit in and quickly learn the pitfalls of doctoral studies. They will be given their experiences by upper-year students who organize the event with the support of the faculty.
