Fog/Edge midleware for IoT applications

Topic description

The methods of modern IoT must support the cooperation of end elements with current P2P methods of distributed applications and databases based on powerful computing systems with virtual and cloud architecture and high-speed Internet.

The IoT operating elements themselves (sensors, controllers and elements combining both of these functions) must respect a number of limitations (sensor energy limits, the effect of mobility on the communication limits of wireless communication, and so on).

The goal of the dissertation is the design and analysis of algorithmic methods that facilitate efficient and reliable cooperation among IoT elements and cooperatin of IoT elements with central cloud system infrastructure.
