Under the term IoT or Internet of Things, we can imagine a system of smart devices and machines communicating with each other and cooperating without human assistance. IoT forms the basis of Industry 4.0, which marks the upcoming innovation of production processes and the challenge associated with our professional and personal lives. About the speaker

Bc. Jan Šeda, DiS. – 13 years of experience in IT in various positions (from networks to servers or applications); while employed, he graduated from Tomas Bata University’s bachelor program – Security Technologies and Systems. He started working at Škoda IT in 2018 as a Shopfloor IT architect. He is currently a domain architect for the entire production and logistics area. In his spare time, he is into new technologies, is a hockey fan, listens to good music and likes to take photos.
