On September 18, international students at the Czech Technical University (CTU) participated in a tour of the Faculty of Information Technology (FIT) as part of Orientation Week. The day was filled with important information and opportunities to get familiar with the faculty's environment and offerings.
Participation in Orientation Week is crucial for first-year students as it helps ease their transition into university life. The event took place from September 17 to 19, and students had the chance to learn all the essential information needed for their studies. They also had the opportunity to explore the modern facilities where teaching and research take place.
During the FIT tour, a group of approximately 45 students, including 20 from FIT, was introduced to different parts of the faculty. The students toured the Architecture Building, visited the 14th floor of Building A, and explored the SageLab, where they were guided by Ing. Petr Paus, Ph.D.
Orientation Week at CTU is a fantastic opportunity for new students to familiarize themselves with the university environment, build new connections, and prepare for the upcoming academic year.
