About the competition
The twenty-fourth year of the Werner von Siemens Award for technical, natural sciences and medical students and young scientists has been announced. The Werner von Siemens Award is organized by the Czech Siemens and by eminent representatives of universities and the Czech Academy of Sciences. They are also guarantors of individual categories and participate in the evaluation of theses. The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic patronize this Award. With its scope, amount of financial rewards and history, the Werner von Siemens Award is one of the most important independent initiatives of its kind in the Czech Republic.
