Live-stream in partner schools

A global conference for students and teachers on the latest technologies, innovations, and trends. It seeks to provide young people with the knowledge, tools, and courage to tackle the world's challenges. Along with this, some student projects are awarded through Future Port Awards. It is live-streamed to partner schools around the world.

Event website

To recognize and celebrate outstanding students and inspire others, there is an open call for student projects using technology to make a positive impact. Any student team from a high school or college can nominate their project. FPY presenters and partners will select who is invited to present at the conference.

Submit your project

Criteria for a project

Only three criteria apply to projects:

  • They are led and largely carried out by students. External contractors are in order.
  • It uses technology for a good cause and contributes to one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
  • At least a working prototype or proof-of-concept that demonstrates the project idea is required. A concept paper or ppt presentation is not enough.

Certificate

All eligible projects submitted will receive a certificate of participation in the Future Port Awards so that their team members can demonstrate their entrepreneurial and innovative activities.

Award ceremony

The three finalist teams will be invited to Prague for an awards ceremony at the Future Port Youth 2024 conference. The trip will include:

  • 2+ days in iconic Prague with all travel and accommodation paid*.
  • official certificates for the winners
  • official press release (in Czech and English)
  • media interviews (based on media interest)
  • professional photography and video interview
  • social media coverage
  • visit to partner organizations and leading local innovative companies (optional)
