Internships

We appreciate students from engineering schools mainly focused or at least interested in Machine Vision projects. The laboratory can hold short or longer internships depending on the chosen project or the student’s dedication to work 😁.

Feel free to ask more about the proposed projects’ topics or the ImproLab itself!

Hey! During summer 2024, I did a 3-month internship at ImproLab. It was a great experience during which I learned a lot, both technically and personally. I worked on a topic related to pedestrian dynamics during evacuation, a really interesting topic with plenty of challenges related to the safety of crowds in everyday life.

This internship gave me a chance to apply my skills to a concrete project, with a lot of freedom to explore different approaches. The lab is equipped with a wide range of tools, especially high-end cameras, which made the work even more interesting.

All the people I met during these three months were very friendly and helpful. Cherry on top, Prague is a splendid city and there is a lot to discover. If you come to the Czech Republic, you won't be disappointed!

Ahoj! I did my 3-month internship in ImproLab in order to pass my 4th year of my engineering school. This internship was a great opportunity for me to learn the way of working in a laboratory and discovering a new culture.

The team in the ImproLab is really helpful and pleasant to work with! The proposed subjects are really original and are made up directly by companies. I worked on a project where I had to use recent 3D rendering technology using AI in order to produce a 360° car visualization.

Besides that, Prague is one of the most beautiful cities I visited: there is always something to do and people to meet (and the beer is excellent). Cheers!

My internship at ImproLab began as a spontaneous application motivated by the lab’s research topics. Under the direction of Jakub Novak, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the world of computer vision, taking an active part in the lab’s experiments and day-to-day activities.

The freedom of approach in my work enabled me to fully exploit my skills and contribute to the lab’s projects. Every day was a new opportunity to learn.

This internship was a valuable experience, not only for the technical skills I acquired but also for the satisfaction of having contributed to actual projects in a very interesting field.
