Launch your web browser and enter the KOS address.
Registration/re-registration for the terms of examinations, credits and classified credits
- Select „Terms“ -> Dates menu (the selection can be limited to „Terms I can apply for“).
- Click on the beak in the „Detail“ column to open the details of the date, including the option to register for the date.
- You can only register for one future term per course.
- You can also register for another term in the Term Detail by clicking on the „Register“ button. You will be transferred from the original term to the newly selected term.
Regular or correction term
When listing the terms, the teacher has several options for which set of students to list the term for:
- no restictions
- regular term (1st attempt)
- remedial term (2nd and 3rd attempt)
No restrictions
You can enrol for either the 1st, 2nd or 3rd attempt of the exam (provided there is space available).
Regular term
You can only enroll on your 1st attempt.
Remedial term
It is only for students who are going to the 2nd or 3rd attempt. You may enroll if you passed your first attempt with a grade of F (or forfeited it).
„Assesment requested“
If the exam is set to „assesment requested“, you must first have assesment entered in the course grade or you will not see the exam date and will not be able to register.
Substitute on the term
- If there is not a vacancy on the exam term and the substitute queue is enabled, you can click on the „Sign up as substitue“ button.
- If someone opts out of the deadline, the first person in the queue will become a regular registrant and the others will move forward one place.
- If you don't want to get from the head of the alternate queue to the properly registered ones until just before the deadline, set in the help window how many days in advance you want to be removed from the queue. You can be an alternate for several dates at the same time. When you are among the properly registered for a term, you will be automatically removed from the other queues.
- Note: to see such a date, you must not have the filter box in “Terms I can apply for” checked.
