Come to a lecture about a student startup, which became a globally successful project. Bc. Martin Mazanec, a graduate of FIT CTU, will tell you how he and his friend Matouš Skála developed the Fitify application, which is now used by over 20 million people from 180 countries all around the world.

His back hurt, so he created an exercise app. It became a hit immediately. Martin Mazanec, a FIT CTU graduate, and Matouš Skála, from the student project, built the Fitify application. Although they were founded in 2018, they financed themselves from their own resources – so-called bootstrapping. This was true until recently, an investment worth 2.5 million dollars from Ondřej Fryc’s Reflex Capital will help them further their development. In 2021, Martin was also in Forbes magazine’s 30 under 30 selection.
There will be time for questions after the lecture. The event is suitable not only for students who are going to start their own technology startup but during the discussion, there will also be an opportunity to touch purely technical issues.
