Laboratory of Intelligent Embedded Systems (LIVS)

We integrate artificial intelligence and embedded systems. We prepare students for Industry 4.0. Students can work with humanoid robots, industrial cooperative robots and a wide range of wheeled or six-legged robots and drones. We use a server with high-performance graphics cards for artificial intelligence algorithms and deep neural networks learning.

More about us

The laboratory is co-financed by the European Union. The aim of the project is to create and equip a Laboratory of Intelligent Embedded Systems. The laboratory will focus on embedded systems with integrated elements of artificial intelligence. It will provide students with the possibility to use the latest facilities and equipment.

What we do

We focus on humanoid robots and the development of applications for humanoid robots. We study problems connected with autonomous vehicles control systems using vehicle mockups. We accelerate neural networks on field programmable gate arrays (FPGA) and high-performance GPUs.

Description
Cílem projektu je vytvořit a technicky vybavit Laboratoř inteligentních vestavných systémů. Laboratoř se bude zaměřena na vestavné systémy s integrovanými prvky umělé inteligence. Laboratoř bude studentům poskytovat technické zázemí pro předměty Základy inteligentních vestavných systémů (BI-ZIVS) v bakalářské etapě, Inteligentní vestavné systémy (MI-IVS) v magisterské etapě, bakalářské a diplomové práce. Technické vybavení laboratoře bude sledovat nejmodernější trendy v dané oblasti.
