Intelligent Embedded Systems, Reliability and Security
We do research in the field of new architectures and algorithms that can be used to address the latest challenges (the internet of things, artificial intelligence and machine learning, coordination between humanoid and wheeled robots) having in mind a number of limitations (size, speed, real-time processing, resilience to defects and attacks also in critical environments and applications, speed of design, value-for-money optimization). We use reconfigurable hardware and software (FPGA, microcontrollers, processor cores) and design own application-specific instruction set processors (ASIP). We do tests, formal verifications, models and calculations of reliability indices.
