Politeia 21
The project aims to create a faithful simulation of life in Plato’s “ideal state”, as described in The Republic, his writings. We attempt to reconstruct how Plato himself might have imagined his city-state while preserving contemporary and local customs, architecture, art, cult, etc.
We investigate interpersonal interactions using traditional social science methods and procedures as well as advanced algorithms and other technological tools. We expect to use the knowledge gained, the mentioned tools and the simulator for further research and other areas outside academia.
