In this group, we focus on research in the theory of algorithms for processing of tree data structures. Examples of tree structures include abstract syntactic trees or XML documents. With regard to practical applications, we deal with applications in the field of construction of translators, processing of structured inputs and their syntactic and semantic analysis and translation, code generation and design and implementation of programming languages.
