Computer Networks and Internet

In the modern world of the 21st century, the World Wide Web – the Internet – is an inseparable part of our lives. The Internet is rightly called an information highway since it transports terabytes of data every day for all possible purposes. The specialization aims to provide students with all necessary theoretical knowledge that enables them to become experts in computer networks. Students will acquire extensive practical and theoretical experience in modern technologies in our modern networking lab, and will be ready to enter the job market.

What will you learn?

You will acquire comprehensive knowledge at the level of architects in the field of design and administration of computer networks, data centres, and the IoT. You will understand network technologies (optical, metallic, wireless) commonly used on the Internet, learn to program network applications and protocols, and learn the principles of computer network security. You will be able to:

  • Design, administrate, optimize, and secure computer networks
  • Program network applications
  • Understand network services and the IoT

What jobs will you be able to do?

After completing your studies you will become experts in computer networks and the Internet. Graduates in this specialization are highly demanded on the job market and are be able to find a job in any company, big or small. You can become:
