FIT CTU graduate Adam Zvada and his bussiness partner David Mokoš founded a startup and invaded the world crypto scene with an idea that brought them a record investment of CZK 37 million during three months. Their startup NFTScoring helps investors analyze the NFT phenomenon in the world of cryptocurrencies, where one can trade a certain digital work, such as an image on the Internet or a musical composition. NFTScoring thus serves to verify the value of these purchased digital works and also helps to find new investment opportunities within NFTs.

As only the third Czech startup, NFTScoring got into the prestigious American accelerator Y Combinator, where only a handful of the best from all over the world will succeed. Although the startup has been existing for a few months, its founders have already managed to obtain an investment of CZK 37 million, which is unique in the Czech Republic. Startup helps analyze the value of unmistakable tokens confirming ownership in the digital world, called NFT (non-fungible token). When we say NFT, it means digital images of strange monkeys or pixel figurines, which are sold for huge amounts.

The idea of founding NFTScoring arose from the realization that NFTs are mainly associated with social events and the social community. They found that the main platforms where NFTs are discussed are Twitter and Discord, and the more NFTs are talked about, the higher is the price.

"The technology behind the NFT is fascinating, bringing true ownership to the digital world for the first time. NFTs are gradually beginning to be used, but are currently seen primarily as an investment asset, ”says Adam Zvada, co-founder of NFTScoring, and adds: “The goal of NFTScoring is to professionalise NFT trading and provide comprehensive tools used by share dealers."

The main startup goal is community evaluation. Both Adam and David have studied artificial intelligence and thus know how to create data flows and mathematical models. They want to use it a lot in the future.

The founders themselves are already collaborating on several projects. After working at Avast, Zvada and Mokoš founded the Cognitic agency focused on artificial intelligence, and then they worked together on the startup GoDeliver, which subsequently helped distribute food for people in quarantine during the coronavirus pandemic. Zvada is also a co-founder of the Fuzee application, which effectively connects various modes of Prague transport.
