The robots first introduced themselves to the children, and then the children could throw dice, exercise or dance with them. They could also see how they might order in a café or restaurant in the future directly from a cute robot. The children saw that amazing things can be done thanks to computer science.
One of the faculty’s goals is also to popularize IT among primary school children who are very interested in modern technologies. The faculty organized a visit for children from the Primary School náměstí Svobody 2 from Prague 6, who visited the Laboratory of Intelligent Embedded Systems full of humanoid robots that fascinated the children at first sight. The head of the laboratory Ing. Miroslav Skrbek, Ph.D., showed the children what all the robots our students have learned and patiently answered all the curious questions that they asked.
