Faculty buildings

There’s no need to travel across Prague to access our facilities. The whole faculty is located on the inspirational Dejvice Campus, where also all our events are held. And what’s more, FIT is the tallest university building in Prague.

Most classes take place in the New Building of CTU and Building A

New Building of CTU
Seat of the faculty, Dean’s Office, Office of Study Affairs, lecture halls and classrooms

We share this space with the Faculty of Architecture, CTU, which gives the spaces a creative touch. This is the place where most classes take place, and where the offices of the management and the Office of Study Affairs are located. It is the heart of the faculty.

Building A
Classrooms and laboratories, seats of departments, teacher’s offices

The 15-storey building right next to the FIT CTU’s main building is hard to miss. We occupy floors 9 to 14, so you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. The rest of the building is occupied by the Faculty of Civil Engineering, CTU.

Building A is the tallest building on the Dejvice Campus.

Other buildings

National Library of Technology
Lecture hall, computer lab, individual study rooms

The modern and award-winning building of the National Library of Technology is home to over 1.1 million books. It also houses a computer lab and the Balling Hall where classes take place and plenty of space to study.

Faculty of Electrical Engineering
Lecture halls

The building of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering is located on the backbone street passing through the Dejvice Campus, opposite a UCT building (University of Chemistry and Technology). Classes for FIT students take place in several of its lecture halls.

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is located next to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. Classes for FIT students can also take place here.
